Description:The LECOMPTE 12 year-old Calvados (AOC Pays d’Auge) is the product of a blend of Pays d’Auge Calvados brandies aged from 12 to 13 years. The originality of this vintage lies in its almost perfect balance: We have succeeded in preserving both fruitiness and vigour whilst adding a fatty touch, a delicate complexity and a good length in the mouth.
This “double personality” has contributed to its popularity: Both nervous and intricate, fruity & woody, with delicate aromas and a long finish.
