Located at the very limit of the Calvados Pays d'Auge, bordering the Caen plain, our educational farm is home to forty Normande and Prim’Holstein cows. Around half of our production is transformed into dairy products either directly for sale on the Pâtis farm (in the village of Méry Corbon), or in markets in and around Caen.
The Pâtis farm is an educational farm where dairy cows are bred and milk is transformed into different products such as milk jam (our speciality), fresh non pasteurised butter and cream (available on the farm). We also produce a variety of other products such as milk jam caramels or apple raisiné...
Following the update of environmental standards in 1999, our production of Pommé (also known as Apple Raisiné) began. At the same time, we also decided to welcome groups to the farm to share with them our enthusiasm, our skill and our regional specialities.
Our farm, which was awarded the label « Educational Farm » in 2000, offers children the opportunity to discover the different farm activities and to get close to nature and to the farm animals.
