Precisely what any amateur of Calvados is looking for – a wealth of aromas and the finesse and the elegance of our marvellous Pays d'Auge apples.
And we, humble distillers, seek only to reveal the immense aromatic pallet of the masterpiece that is Calvados, for the pure pleasure of your palate: From the fresh simplicity of Lecompte ORIGINEL to the vanilla tones of Lecompte 5 years old and finally the rich and decidedly "tarte tatin" depicted in our Lecompte 21 years old. Such is the gourmet journey you will take when visiting our site.
Early last century, but a modest wine and spirit merchant in Lisieux, founded by Alexandre LECOMPTE in 1923, has today become a Pays d’Auge Calvados with a truly international reputation.
Calvados LECOMPTE, was bought over by Yves PELLERIN in 1980 and now belongs to the SACB, independent company founded by the PELLERIN family.
